So for today’s post I’m going to be sharing 4 of my favourite recipes!
Recipe #1 – Super Happy Muscles
This one is a favourite for after the gym or any physical activity I find! When I was playing hockey regularly I was using things like Icy Hot and A535 to help with any sore muscles or discomfort. If I had known about oils back then, specifically this roller it would’ve been a game changer.
- 15 Panaway (Essential oil blend of Wintergreen, Clove, Helichrysum, and Peppermint)
- 8 Copiaba
- 10 Peppermint
- 5 Northern Lights Black Spruce
- 5 Lemon
- 10 Wintergreen
Use a 10 oz roller bottle and top with any carrier oil, I use Sweet Almond Oil!
Recipe #2 – Tummy Troubles
If you ever feel nauseous, bloated or your stomach just feels off then this is for you. This oil has saved me so many times! I use this roller whenever my stomach just feels off. This one doesn’t smell nice like the others but it works and I never leave home without it.
- 15 Peppermint
- 15 DiGize (Essential Oil blend of Tarragon, Juniper, Anise, Ginger, Fennel, Patchouli, Peppermint, Lemongrass)
- 5 Lemon
Use a 10 oz roller bottle and top with any carrier oil, I use Sweet Almond Oil!
Recipe #3 – Focus
This roller I carry with me everywhere, I find it helps me with more than just my school work. I’ve used this specific roller to help me through numerous all-nighters to finish term projects at school and this is one my friends at school always ask to use.
- 15 Lavender
- 15 Vetiver
- 15 Cedarwood
Use a 10 oz roller bottle and top with any carrier oil, I use Sweet Almond Oil!
Recipe #4 Breathe Cream
Unlike the other three recipes, this one isn’t made in a roller bottle instead, it is made in a small glass jar. I know many people who use this cream as a substitute for Vicks VaporRub. Basically, it is a more naturally alternative to Vicks and it works the same. This cream is used for colds or the flu but I started using it when I had a cough that would not go away and within a couple days I noticed a huge improvement in my cough. I’m going to share two variations of the recipe, one for adults and one for kids.
For adults:
- 2 Tbsp Coconut Oil
- 15 R.C.
- 6 Peppermint
- 7 Frankincense
- 7 Lavender
- 8 Eucalyptus
- 5 Thieves
For kids:
- 4 Tbsp Coconut Oil
- 20 R.C.
- 7 Frankincense
- 7 Lavender
- 10 Peppermint
Whisk together and store in a glass jar. Apply to chest, throat, back, and feet.
It is important when making anything with essential oils that glass, aluminum, or stainless steel is used to store what you are making. Essential oils (especially citrus ones) can pull out the toxins in plastic and you don’t want that.
